Catalog Search is a free developer tool for exploring products across Shopify stores using the Shopify Catalog API and Universal Commerce Protocol.

Why We Built This

As Shopify developers, we wanted a simple way to test Catalog API queries and understand how products appear in federated search results. Instead of writing custom scripts or parsing raw API responses, Catalog Search gives you a visual interface to explore real product data.

With the rise of agentic commerce—where AI agents help users discover and purchase products— understanding how your catalog appears in these systems is increasingly important. This tool lets developers and merchants see exactly what AI agents see.
